 These songs sound awesome but when we think of the amount of time and effort it took to put them together so we could listen to artists from far away places it just warms my heart. Every time I listen to them I get goosebumps!

Johnny Horton had many wonderful tunes but what I liked about his songs is the fact that they were based on real facts or events. North to Alaska teaches the listener of the hardships and loneliness many miners felt during the great gold rush.
